Outwith aims to take the listener beyond: beyond our borders, and beyond the headlines. We want to examine stories and events that don’t often make it into news bulletins, or need more in-depth analysis and conversation.
Halla sits down once a week with guests who’ve worked on under-reported, and complex issues. Over tea and cake (or occasionally something stronger), we chat through the news of the day, the stories that need more room to breathe than a standard 2 minute news package. Through these chats round the kitchen table, we aim to give the listener a better, more in-depth understanding of the issues which affect people, around the world.
